So I had this big idea; it started when I was trying to figure out ways to add more light to our living room. I thought we could put some sconces to the wall behind the loveseat. And, since that would require putting a number of holes in the drywall, maybe we could cover it with paneling to match the chimney. Well, it worked out. (And we had the boys sign and date the wall before we covered it up.)
Happy Thanksgiving
Finn helped me set the table (and made the menus).
Front door
So I painted the front door. (Looks like I need to touch up the house stain, too.)

Crepe myrtle
We planted a tiny little crepe myrtle, because Finny wanted some more plants to attract butterflies. I think it’s happy here.

Cedar
Really happy with the cedar over the door and on the cupola (we had it added when the roof was replaced).

Roof
Yep, it was about that time. This week, were getting a new roof.
Merry Christmas
(yeah yeah I know, still no trim on the fireplace)

Visitors
The flowers that we planted in the chicken coop garden are attracting some visitors.
Shed
So we got a shed for the back yard, and it kinda looks like it’s always been there.

Cabinet
This little cabinet has been passed around my family for decades — from my mom, to me, to my aunt, and now back to me — and it has found new life in the barn (as storage for board games).
